What problems have you had with your stang?
List what year your stang is, what your mileage is, and what (mechanical) problems you have had with it, I bought mine which is an 00 with 35k on it and i am now close to 40 and i haven't had any problems with it. I'm just curious.

I bought my 98 mustang with about 62000 miles on it a few months ago. Less than a week after getting it my transmission went and stranded me down in jersey. Got it rebuilt. Since then I have had no problems at all.

01 GT, 65K miles
I shredded the stock clutch and replaced it with a spec stage 2.
I had a spark plug shoot out of the head taking the threads with it and had to buy the time-sert kit to repair it.
Both of these happened after I installed the supercharger I should have bought a torque wrench when I put the plugs in and I wouldn't have had one go out on me. I'll definitely be checking them from time to time.

I bought my 93 in 1998 with 35,000 on it. It now has 99k on it. During that time I had to replace the fan clutch and the convertible top. Outside of that, just regular maintenence stuff. I've tuned it twice, changed the oil every 3,000 or less and replaced the brakes when I upgraded them at about 60k. Hands down, the best car I've ever owned.
We bought my wife's car (96 Cobra) four years ago with 38k on it. It now has 62 on it. The only problem it has ever had was a broken rear sway bar. Same maintenence schedule as above.
If you take care of your car, it will take care of you.

bought my 01 in april of 2004 with 34k miles. It now has 48k.
problems:
leaky foglights - replaced with ultra clears and still leaky
this summer my steering creaks. i believe its the tie rods from lowering the car.
k&n filter got my maf dirty and caused a pinging which i couldnt find/figure out for a while.
trans started clicking after making 10+ consistant 13.6 passes. Changed trans fluid and havent heard it since.

Bought my 99 in 2003 with about 62k miles on it, it now has 79k on it. Only problem is the IAC is goofing up, so I need to put the one that I bought on, and my clutch is going out, it chatters after it heats up a bit. Oh, and my exhaust is too quiet now... Mac catback will fix that after the first of the year.

03 GT- 40k miles
Steering squeak when turning - replaced steering rack at 20k... covered by warranty
at 39k my ABS light came on... wheel sensor failure. $275 to fix
Now less than a week after that my Air Conditioning isnt working. I'm scared of what this will cost.

2004 GT. 6800 miles on it. (daily driver too). . Bought it in Oct. 04. Sometimes my tranny wants to grind a lil bit from 1st to 2nd when it's cold outside. No other real mechanical problems, just keeping my wish list for add on's to a dull roar seems to be a real problem. There's alot of stuff out there to personalize your stang.
