some good mufflers
was looking at buying some mufflers from american muscle...SLP high flows, but just mufflers for now...any comments, or better suggestions...those are $260 a pair....am looking for deep agressive sound...but still be able to cruise at 70 mph, and think straight...with a little bit of more HP...late

if you are going to spend the moeny replace the whole catback to get the adv. of the large 2.5" piping to help flow. Even soo a catback has little power hidden in it at lower hp levels. The slps are loud if you go with SLP LM1's if you want it a bit tamer aLM2's or powerflows are the way to go. Powerflows are less loud then the LM2's.

What do you have? V8 or V6? I like the sound of my MAC catback. Sounds great and pretty inexpensive. Like these guys said you should just go ahead and get a catback. It's not that much more. You can go to youtube.com and listen to all kinds of different setups.
