i just got my car back from the shop, had engine rebuilt, and long tubes installed. my floorboards get kinda hot though, is this normal or is something wrong. they arent ceramic cuz i couldnt find MAC ceramic anywhere, theyre nickel plated

 

normal for a little more heat to be present. Since they're not ceramic coated I'd wrap them in header tape to help with the heating problem.
