Default Hep with gears

I just bought my second 2000 4.6L. It has Richmond 3.73's in it already but they make a wine noise. Seceral ppl told me thats normal for richmond gears and others say that no gear should ever wine..... any suggestions?

I've got FRPP 4.10s and then whine when they're under load between 45 and 50 mph. My installer told me it was the bearing and he could fix it for $150, but I would think that if it was the bearing it would whine all the time...

If the gears are helical cut gears they do not whine, simple as that.
