Default Gears and Programmer Package From MT!

Hey Guys! I now have the money for the parts and installation and I have a question about buying the 4:10 gears and SCT II programmer from MT. When it asks me for the information about my car, do I put down that I have stock gears or do I put down that I have 4:10 gears? Technically I have stock gears but seeing as how I am buying the programmer to get optimum performance from my 4:10's, which do I put? Also, does anybody know about how much on average installation will cost me?

It doesnt matter what you put down, you can change it when you get the XCal. Gear install ranges from $150- $350. Personally I wouldnt pay more then $250.

put 4.10s because thats the gearing option youll be using. id also tell them to put your rev limiter at 5800 and tell them your tire sizing. as for install, its about a 2.5-3 hour job so expect to pay 100 an hour.

Am I going to have to pay for an extra tune to get my rev limiter put at 5800 rpm or is that included in the included tune?

I was wondering the same thing... Thats just what mattj said and I was kinda curious myself. Just to make sure... If I get the package from MT (4:10's, gear oil, and SCT II) then all I will have to do is get the gears installed, recalibrate comp to go with 4:10's and upload my custom tune... Right?
