I have a mustang 2000 gt and can't seem to get the back seats down. There is an interior piece behind the head rest that i can move but it doesn't unlock the seats so pulling the strap doesn't do anything. Also I don't see the lever that is depicted in the manual.

 

push on the top of the back of the seat from iside the cabin, pull the cord, yank seat. if that don't work, take out the bottom part first.

 

I can only pull that top piece towards me. I tried pulling on this piece and at the same time pulling the strap but it doesn't fold the seat.

The bottom part? Does the seat actually come out because I thought the part where u rest your back just folds over.
