Question How do I install my chin spoiler

I just bought a chin spoiler from a friend. He did not have the screws or clips. Where do I buy the screws from? Also can I sand it, to smooth out some rough scrapes. Can I paint it or spray rubber coating on it to make it look new.

i used a couple thin strips of duct tape to hold it in place while i pre-drilled holes and put screws in. youll want something with coarse threads so it holds but you dont need long screws.

i used the blue painters tape to hold it to the car, then i went to ford and got two packs of ten i believe push pin type fasteners and drilled the holes and put these fasteners and have no problems

I just went to the local auto parts store and bought several bags of push pin clips. I spent about $8 on them and then drilled the holes.

One thing you'll notice is that you can't line up the front of the spoiler with the front of the bumper and line up the back at the same time. You'll need to decide which you would rather, because you won't be able to do both.

used 4 spare push clip dealies, and like 8 small nut/screw/washer sets to keep it secured. no problems so far other than curbing it all the time.

+1 on the curbing, that's why I didn't use screws. My wife has twice hit the spoiler so hard that it nearly ripped off of one side which I think if I had screws she would have damaged the bumper cover. I keep telling her that the car isn't her Jeep, but she doesn't really care.

LOL, my Egyptian professor for my one my classes told us this one:
3 women, one American, the other French, the the other Egyptian, were having lunch together discussing how their husbands are ungrateful. So, they all decided that for a week, they would do nothing around house except lay in bed and see what happens. So a week later, they meet up and tell eachother what happened. The American women goes first and says that for the first 2 days, nothing really happened but on the 3rd day, her husband made her breakfast in bed. So the other 2 say congrats. The French woman gives her story next. So shes says that pretty much the same happened to her except when she went downstairs on the 3rd day, she saw that the house was clean and dinner was on the table. So now the Eygptian woman gives her story. She says that nothing really happened at all but on the 5th day she started to notice that she couldn't see out of one eye.
