Default Tires Reco's

I have 98 GT, gears, predator tuner, PI Intake manifold, steeda UD's, O/R H-pipe, Flowmaster catback... anyway, I will be needing new tires in about the next month or so. I had Kuhmo Ecsta's and they weren't that bad-lasted me about 3 yrs. I want a middle of the line tire, nothing real cheap and NO drags... but something that can grab but will last. Its a daily driver and I live in Florida-so NO winter worries, its 80 right now here. Thanks guys

nitto 555 street tire---i dont care what anyone says--those things are great---they grip well, they last a while, and they arent that expensive.

dittos on the nittos. love those on mustangs.. they just work well. Mine lasted longer than any other tire I've had to date. Really grippy and linear.

I also like Riken Raptors, Pirelli P7000 (if they're even made anymore), and BFG KD

The nitto's are great if you are in a dry and occassionally wet place. If you live anywhere where it snows, I would go Hankook (I use them on my GT here in Utah). The BFG KDWS they have for all season suck serious *** and have nearly killed me a few times by using them. Don't skimp on what you need and get the most tire you can afford.

there is no need to ask the same question over and over.
