ok ive been smelling oil burning whenever i get out of my car and the other day when i got pulled over the cop noticed it to im just wondering what all it could be, i know that it could be a head gasket but what else could there be or what could that do to other parts in the engine?

 

I was going to say it's hard to mess up a head gasket on these motors. Is your car blowing out smoke and if so what color? Checked your oil to see if it was burnt or low?

 

many times if your smelling burining oil or your car is blowin a lil bluish smoke when you start it (if its real bad also will blow blue smoke while running all the time) then your rings are prolly toast

 

well i looked at it today cuz its getting worse i can smell it even with the windows up and i looked under the hood and theres oil ALL over my intake like its sprying it out or something and its dripping oil i bought some stuff for oil leaks and put in another quart of oil cuz it was low

 

and i havent seen any kind of smoke

 

where is it leaking from?

you may need a head gasket or valve cover seal...

OR... you may have a cracked head

so don't drive it til you found where its leaking from and have fixed it

 

Check your PCV or valve cover gaskets (and oil level)
