custom wide body

Do you want a wide body kit with narrow tires as thats the way its going to look. First get some wide wheels and tires then see if you need to widen the fenders. I doubt you will as the stangs already come with wide fendors.

well i wouldnt have wide bodyand narrow tires as i would have to get wider and of course larger wheels/rims. but i like the wide body look, so is my idea correct? tocut a portion of the fender area out and weld sheet metal in the angle to make it wider, nothing much like 2" is enuf

If you want wide body kit then dont add spacers as whats the point as in the rear its going to look like two bicycle tires. First find wheels that fit 335 30 18 tires then see if you still want to do it. If you go with 315s then whats the point of the wide body kit as 315s fit on stock fenders.

I didnt evern want to mention the 355s a Viper has 335 but they need every inch of tire. If you want to build the car all show and no go as far as fendors then its going to be tough to get respect from the hardcore stang owners as only reason to go that wide is for traction. Ricers go for looks instead of performance. Its your car and you can do what you like to it but dont take it the wrong way if others dont think its a good idea.
