Default Shifter Question!!!!!

Does anyone have a pictures of either the Steeda Tri-Ax, MGW, or Pro 5.0? (I have an 03 Mach) Im leaning towards the Steeda b/c they say it sits closer to the driver, has a longer handle, and is height adjustable. I figured pictures would show how close it sits to the driver.
Thanks

+2 w/ the Hurst. However, I prefer the 8"X3" stick from a 1st Camaro over the one that comes w/ it (8.6"X2.5").

How close is the hurst to the driver? I want the one that brings the stick closest back to me.
Thanks

Unfortunately I can't answer that now since I'm up at college at the moment. However, it isn't to difficult to measure. First, decide where you want your hand to be when you shift (if the shifter was in neutral). Measure from the mounting point of the stick to the point where the ball/handle of the shifter would be in your hand. I don't think the Hurst sticks have an ofset in them going sideways so if you need that, a Steeda stick can placed on it but then you might as well get a Steeda shifter. However, if you find that you don't need the stick to be ofset sidways and just be laidback, than go w/ the Hurst unit. Personally, the Hurst fit me just right but for different sized people, they may need a different sized stick.

i have the hurst too...im trying to find a smaller stick because the one that comes with it is way too uncomfortable and too tall (i switched to my stock stick, its higher but since the stock stick has more of a bend its closer to me)...im looking into getting the MGW blue handle stick cause its adjustable height wise and pivot wise

Check out the stick from the 1st gen F-body, it isnt as tall but it has 1/2" more lay-back and is what comes w/ the SST version.

Sorry, this is slightly off-topic but nice trim. Is that a kit or did you paint the pieces?

Seems odd that all aftermarket companies sell their shifters w/ stops. If you set them correctly according to instructions, there's no need to remove. The problem comes when you don't put adequate clearance between the stop and shifter causing you to shift into gear but to be in that gear just barely so that under certain conditions, the trans may throw you out of gear.
Also, PureStang, what paint did you use? I'm thinking of doing the same since buying a trim kit is a little too pricey and I need to save every cent I have for my 5.4 swap.

the shifter sits in the same place.. it's the handle that changes location.

I use a pro5.0 shortie handle and a tri-ax. Reach is a little long going to 5th but other than that it's really nice.

Here's a pic:
