side exhaust question

Default side exhaust question

would a roush catback side exhaust system from a 96 cobra bolt on to a 95 gt?

if not a direct bolt on it would be fairly easy and cheap to have modified. I'm pretty sure it'll bolt right up but I'm a little rusty on my early gt trivia.

yea i figured it should work, but just checkin to make sure. thanks. im replacing my stock system w/ it, will i notice a difference in power? i know that some side exhausts hurt hp

oh just since were talking about side exit exhaust i have a question also. why cant a convertable have them? is it because the exhaust comes back into the car?

it all depends on what system you go w/..verts have crappy subframe connectors and most exhaust systems are set up not to consider subframes (like coupes since we dont have subframes) i believe that the roush kit is compatible w/ subframes since they have vert roushes

Spintech sells custom subframe connectors that work with thier side exhaust. My guess is they would bolt/weld right up to the vert mount points. Never looked into this though..
