Shifting Problems

Shifting Problems
I've had my car for about 8 months without doing any kinds of modifications to it, and I have decided that it's about time to beef it up. I just ordered a new cat-back system so I'm pretty stoked about that. But I had a question about my shifter. I have an '03 GT (5-speed of course). But I find it to be very hard to shift. The best way to describe it is that it is very rough when I shift, and there's no way of pulling hard into a gear because it won't go in smoothly. It's tuff going into 2nd, harder going into third, but 4th and 5th are fine. Has anyone else had this experience? Is it my shifter that's the problem? Or can it be my transmission.

You need to go get the recall done to the 3650 (thats the tranny you have). it will fix that right up. mine as well as most peoples 3650's did it too untill they get the fix done then its all good. ps i recomend learning to powershift while you are goingot get a free rebuild form ford.

its not fine all 3650 do it if they wont fix it take it to another deale ror yell at them. Its a free fix so they probibly dont wanna do it. Me i just took it in and said hey i need the TSb done for the 3650 and thats that. no test ride they dont wanna deal with that stuff it makes them no money.

Hmm. I need to find someone with a car like mine in the area and have them drive it. Does yours grab at all when shifting? In the meantime, I'll contact another dealer and see what they say. Thanks for all the help!
