ok i been thinkin about selling my gt and picking up a white mach 1. i was just wondering if it would really be worth it. what would i benifit i know ill pick up a 4 valve and a shaker hood but ill have a stock mach1 that is slower then my modded gt. i also think that my chances of finding a white one is almost impossible here in de. ive seen these cars at the track break some rears so i figure the first mod will have to be 31 splines with some type of differential and some 3.90's. then the next mod will be a p1-sc dont like the idea of tapping in the oil pan.then im set. but if i do the same to my gt it will still be faster. i wont take out the 3.73's. should i be broke and have a low 12 sec mach 1 or have some money and have a high 11 gt? opinions just let it loose i dont get hurt easily

 

In the end, the Mach has more potential than the GT. If you have the means, I would go for it.

 

If you are trading in your GT to the dealership, strip it bone stock because they wont give you any money for what youve done to it. seems you have a nice collection of aftermarket parts you could add to a mach 1.

i have more since then that. i might not know the difference between transmissions. i know not to give my mustang as a trade in. mods are staying on the car. i'd start off with another fresh one. wait i will keep my diablo tuner.

 

The mach 1 uses the t3650 transmition same as the 01.5 - 03 GTs, the Bullitt, and the 01 cobra
