Default 03 mustang gt electrical shuts down

Ok at a loss here, the car has done this twice now. driving along and all the electrical will quit volt gauge drops . you have about a min to get the car off the road before it dies. when you get pulled over the battery is dead (mostly) not enough to start it. all it takes is a jump start and its good to go again. no smell of burnt wires, thinking the computer but really have no clue. I have tested alt and battery . battery wires are not hot to touch either like they would be with a direct short. any clues ?

Had a similar issue. Ended up being the alternator, also had to replace the battery, battery wires and my alternator pully was bad had something to do with a bad bearing.
