Default Seat question???

Ok i have a 03 GT vert - I dont like how the seats sit so "high" - I like how the seats sit low in the 05 Gt - I wanted to know from those of you with racing seats, does your seat sit lower than the stock Gt leathers? - BTW anyone who wants to buy my stockers is welcome - they have <20k miles on them exc condition, I also am willing to trade. But anyway if you have any experience with racing seats please chime in - Thanks

I have the Corbeau A4's with their brackets and my seats sit a little bit lower. Arent yours power, cant you adjust the height of them?

BTW, wrong section. Belongs in Gen Tech.

I hated how high the seats were. I have Corbeau Forza's now (one of the lightest seats made) and they sit wickedly low, so much so that I made some cushions for street duty that I pull out when racing.

Cheap seats like mine are uncomfortable for any length of time but they're super light. I even added the lumbar support from my stockers into my Forza's which helps a bit.

When picking your racing seats decide how you'll use the car. Some racing classes don't allow reclining seats. If you don't race much then pick what's comfortable before what looks good or you'll hate life. Most race seats don't allow proper use of the stock seatbelts so you'll need to think about a roll bar with a harness bar and 4 or 5 point harnesses. I had to take out my stock seatbelts to get my cage in so I have RJS 5 point, latch lock, 3" straps which restrict the hell out of my movement inside the car. It's a pretty big sacrifice to sit 1 inch lower but if you need em, you need em.
