As far as i know are tanks are 14.7 gallon tanks and 300 miles on a tank is good. But do what MCM said and that is what i do to check my mpg. i normally get about 18 or 19 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The best i ever got was 360 miles on a tank and i used 14.5 gallons so 24.8 mpg that was with stock gears driving about 80 to 85 mph on the interestate.

I got 28 MPH when I picked my car up from the dealer and drove from MD to NC.

yeah you guys suck. Automatic with 3.73's... i get about 15-16mpg. Fill up usually right when the light comes on i'm right at 200 miles, lol. That is city and highway driving. They're both the same mpg for me.

Example,
John Q. Stangowner fills up his tank.
He then drives 225 miles.
Fills up with 12.5 gallons.
225 divided by 12.5=18 MPG
this is how I do it on my 97 ford escort w/ 5 speed
my mustang dont wanna know what it gets...lol

i forgot i made this thread, haha...damn those funny ciggarettes..

i started getting good gas mileage when i took my diablow tune off for the nitrous. 300 a tank is regular for me, and i drive my car HARD.

my gas light has only come on once, that was a bad day. (slid on some ice pulling into a gas station and cracked my bumper )

I just filled up at lunch 13.24 Gallons (focking $39.05), and had 289.3 miles on the ODO.

21.85 mpg isn't too bad considering all the traffic I sit in daily, and hitting atleast 100mph daily on the interstate, and o/r h and 3.73's......

I can't complain at all. My old truck (98 ford ranger 4banger) got 24 mpg...So getting the stang and only losing 3mpg isn't a bad trade off at all in my opinion!!!!!!

My car gets good gas mileage, but i still only drive it about 3 times or less a week, and the rest of the time it's one of my other cars. 93 just isn't cheap. sucks.

I know, it is $3.20 a gallon here for 93 and I must use it since I have the Vortech Mod.

I'm lucky toget 240 out of a tank. I've been keeping detailed track for the last 4 months and I'm LCUKY to get barely 17mpg.

Last month was 244.09 dollars in gas BTW.

Well, I don't have anything big done to my car like a blower, but every mod I've done to my car so far has actually improved my gas milage. When I got the car I would BARELY get to 200 if I was lucky and had some highway miles. (N. VA traffic sucks pretty hard) Since I've done mid pipe, cat back, gears, Ive seena boost in MPG with each mod. Most surprising and the biggest boost came from the gears. If I recall correctly my highway MPG only dropped 1-3 MPG, but my stop and go, (most of my driving unfortunatly) gained a good 4 - 5 MPG. I now get 230 - 235 miles per tank easily witha lot of heavy foot activity, with no leadfoot I get 250 - 260 miles. So I'm never returning my car to stock to save gas, in fact, I'm hopeing he CAI I ordered, (and found out is back ordered ), will give me a nice boost MPG as well.

Well i have stock gears, and all of the other bolt on's so you could say my motor is pretty effcent. That was going 80mph on the highway which seems to be the sweet spot for mpg in my car.

No nothings wrong. I get between 180-200 mi all city driving when my light turns on. On my car it turns on when I've gone through 13 gallons, still leaving me with 2.5 gallons.

I think it also has to do with what brand of gas you use because I can tell the difference if I put in the cheapo kanguroo gas compared to shell or cheveron
