Default Saleen Kit Paint Cost$$$$$$$

I am considering a saleen body it for my 97.

I was wondering if anybody can provide me with a price range for getting the kit painted white.

Kit includes: Front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, and spoiler.

I think it will look bad azz cuz its a vert.

I've heard the Saleen kit's are unfinished and alot of prep work is involved before painting. They would have to paint more than just the kit to make it match. It would run about I say $1500 or more.

Just to have my hood painted and blended in with the fender's to match up would cost me $500.I've checked

You can expect to pay at least 1000 to have that done as a normal customer.

What you have heard is correct...

Saleen uses straight Urethane (basically a hardened rubber) which requires a large amount of fit and prep work before the paint or primer is even sprayed. There is a 50-50 chance the parts will bolt right up (not likely) or that they will need to be re-molded (more than likely what will happen). So basically be prepared to spend upwards of around a grand ($1000) on labor and like $300 on paint work.
