Someone will correct me if Im wrong. But thats controlled by a valve in the MC, so it shouldnt. Kind of like adding a higher flow pump. That doesnt mean its going to flow more then the stock at normal driving because its controlled by the ECU.

the other half of that is, the rear brakes are damn near there for show. Larger brakes in the rear would unsettle the balance more than larger in front. The front takes so much more braking power that the rears are only vestigal.
From experience on gobs of cars... don't trip. Add the 13's up front and love the new braking power. You'll wonder how you ever got along without them. I've had them on everything fromm 01 cobra 17x8's, to 95GT 17x8's to 95R 17x9's. They've had no clearance issues with any stock 17" wheel that I know of.
