Default GTO question..

Ok I know this is non mustang related but anyways someone might know. My dads GTO was sitting at his shop and it started to rain really bad yesturday..so we go outside to leave and there is like 2 feet of water where the car it so we try to start it, nothing..So we quickly push it out of the water and notice that there is oil in the puddle and on both of the front tires...pushed it inside and looked at it and have no idea where it came from because nothing is cracked or anything..We dont want to try to start it again till we know everything is alright and all the electrical stuff seems to be fine(lights, doorlocks all work)..Any ideas where the oil could of came from?

The ground, dripped from a different car onto the ground. Anything i dought its from his or that its a problem. Start the car if pressure is good, and no leaks then whats to worry about.

Yeah almost everywhere you go, it can rain and you will see oil on the ground from previous cars. If it has a oil pressure gauge, most cars come with it. Start it up and if the needle moves up to where it should be, it's good. if it's dead in the water, shut if off asap. but it should take about 2 seconds for it to move.
