h pipe swat

Default h pipe swat

i have a 96 gt, with an off road h pipe, cani swap the pipe onto the 99-04 model, i doubt it, but why wouldnt it fit?

there are likely to be some minor differences in the mounting system. 96-97 had 1, 98 had another, and 99-04 had yet another. Take a look at how the 96 H is supported. If it connects to the tranny crossmember, you'll have to cut that bit off for a good fit on the 99-04 models.

Other than that it's pretty much just 8 bolts and some O2's.

you can bolt them onto whatever year you want. for example i have 97 4v mid pipe on my 02 GT.

did it have a tranny mount hanger?... there's so many different kinds I try not to memorize them.

yeah but there isnt any space problems. you can cut the tabs off if you want like i did but it isnt a problem.

yeah just saying there isnt a space problem with the hangers, you can leave them or cut them off.
