Amsoil is far superior than any other synthetic on the market but youll hear everyone else say mobil 1, which is actually a really crappy synthetic. The thing with amsoil is you'll be paying for it. I run full amsoil lubricants in mine and change my oil every 7000 miles.

use whatever viscosity fits the weather in your area. Use whatever brand gives you a hardon. Synthetic is marginally better than conventional. Royal purple is top shelf along with RedLine and Mobil1 and Syntec.

Yeah? alot of mustang and camaro people that i know will do only mobile 1 synthetic and nothing else. and some of those people are mechanics or drag racing freaks.
amsoil is really good, but it is pricey and i think royal purple is just as good, right behind that is mobile 1.

Alot of places like autozone will take your old oil from you. Our base has a autoskills shop and we can drop it off there.

On the rocks with a twist of lemon and 2 olives.

Or, most quick lubes and the Kragen/Checker/Schucks chain will take your oil for free. In california they're supposed to pay you 4 cents for each quart but almost never do.
