anyone know for CERTAIN if clutches for T45 can be used on TR3650's?

I've got a chance to get a really really really nice clutch for lunch money and need to know for sure. It's spec'd for a 99 Cobra w/ t45. I'll be putting it behind my 5.4L on a 03 TR3650.

 

Yes..for sure...99+ all the same...unless trem tko trans...FOR SURE...

 

You can run a 10.5" clutch behind the 3650 you just need the other smaller flywheel for the 10.5" clutch. I some people do it for less rotating mass. JPC does it on his 05 GT mustang.

 

Sorry, I was wrong, Just talked to a friend of mine (works for SVT) the 3650 does use a dif clutch than the t45. 11" vs 10.5", you can change the flywhells however. This also means I have the wrong one for my car!!! I have a t56 ging in this weekend. Now I have to get the right one.
EDIT: just read where spike already said about the size...soryy for the f---up, I was going by the parts I was sent...

 

The 3650's are 11in right?? The 96 and up Cobras, either T-45 or T56 use an 11 inch set up. The GT's with T-45's were 10.5

So if the 3650's are 11, then the 99 Cobra clutch is 11in and it will work. If the 3650's aren't 11in, then ddperformance has Cobra 11in flywheels for 29 smackers.

I bought a 99 Cobra T-45 and bought an Cobra 11in flywheel and clutch kit when i did the 5.4 swap.

 

finally... something to glue all those replies together. Thanks Saleen. Yep, 3650's are 11" clutch. GT T45 are 10.5". Wasn't sure on cobras.

I have to get a new flywheel to go 8 bolt anyway so I think I'll do that today. ddperformance here I come.
