Exclamation Lowering springs

Which springs would give a mean look to my 01 cobra but not make the ride too rough? Eibach?

They'll all stiffen the ride a good bit. I'd go with FRPP springs... something like M-5310-R00 (2000 Cobra R springs... very stiff but killer handling) or FRPP J springs M-5300-J. The J's are a nicer street spring, the R's are better for people who do autoX or open tracking.

If you want better handling, get a coil over kit. Something like 550's in back and 250's up front should give a decent ride and you can raise or lower the car with your hands without taking the wheels off. Maximum Motorsports makes the best coil over kit on the market and they really wake up the IRS pretty nicely.

People that drag race IRS's are just too stubborn to admit that the IRS sucks for drag racing. never drag race your IRS... you'll hurt it and it hoses your 60' times. Wheel hoppin sumbeyotch.

I had an IRS for years and I like them for what they're good at. Call up MT or my buddy Ken at speedconcepts.net can hook you up. Just tell him r3dn3ck from wildhorses referred you and he'll give you club pricing.

C springs as a set of 4 are for solid axle cars. He has an IRS car. The J springs are the equivalent for IRS cars. I know these things.
