i have an 02 mustang, im wanting to put a kit on it and black 18's the guy here from cali said it might be ok to put lowering springs on it after the kit and wheels, what do you think, i would like to have the lowered stance because of the handleing

 

It will be ok with 18" thats what I have what happens is the sidewall gets smaller as the rim size gets bigger.

 

I am confused are you asking if you can run 18" rims and lower the car?

if so yes you can.
