Try this clip of them from Streetfire.net

Also, they'll have a lower/more bassy sound when in gear and under power.

I have them on my 05 GT and LOVE 'EM!!!

If you are keeping the stock H pipe...

LM1's HANDS DOWN. Don't go LM2's with the stock H, won't be loud enough if you want something louder. LM1's with stock H = Amazing. You will NOT be disappointed and they will really wake up your car.

The LM2 have a special coating/material on the inside of the resonators. This allows less "resonance" inside the car and is still comfortable on highway driving.

The LM2 and LM1 at WOT will have a very very similar tone and loudness level. At idle the LM2 is more quiet than the gargling of the LM1.

I've had the LM2 on stock H-pipe and headers and loved the fact that I could sit at a stop light somewhat quietly and as soon as I floored it the exhaust just opened up.

I've heard both the LM2 and LM1 in person and personally I like the LM2. I now have the LM2 along with SLP catted X and SLP LT's.

My exhaust: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1...AB00F1A247.htm

I've sworn by SLP since I've gotten, great quality and price, hoped this helped!

I have SLP1 and it sounded really good with the stock H pipe. Now it just sounds mean with the whole H/M/C.

I have Lm1, or X-pipe and it's super loud! I've thought of putting the Lm2s on to shut it up a bit. When I still had my stock h-pipe it was almost perfect. If you get the LM2s I'll trade you my LM1s...:shifty: I'll pay shipping and everything!!:shifty:

I put the LM1 on my wife's 96 Cobra last year, keeping the stock H. I liked it so much that I put a set on my 93 5.0 with catted X. The Cobra sounds great, kind of like a European exotic under full throttle. My 93 is substantially louder and sounds like a hot smallblock in a an early Mustang race car.

LoL, yea Ive heard it with just the LM1 catback and stock H and it does sound sooo good.

But my setup is just down right NASTY. It doesn't get much meaner than what I have on my car.

And I personally DON'T think its that loud AT ALL. And I have LTs, o/r X, and LM1s. I could go louder....

If that's a big factor for you go with LM2's, if not then go with LM1's

The drone is not THAT bad.

It gets loud at high speeds such as 70-80 mph on the highway, like if your driving down the shore. The speed limits around here are like 55, so I push it to about 65 and there is a honing, but not that bad at all.

Its when it gets up to around 80 where the honing really starts to kick in, but then again... even at that point its not that bad. You get used to it believe it or not.

LM1's are completely worth it. Plus you don't have an o/r X or LTs like I do, so for you with stock headers and stock H, you won't have too much of a problem at all... if any.
