Default speedcal

how much of a pain is it to install a speedcal mod, to compensate for my
4.10's?

It's not hard at all, just follow the instructions. I had to do it when i went to a newer tranny. my old one was a mechanical speedo and the new one is a electric speedo. plus it helped with my gears too.
The red wire will go to a 12v source, cig lighter bluewhite wire. The other two wires will go into your vss wire, once you take out the original two. it comes with another connector shell that you put the original vss wires into, plug them all together, set your dip switchs to the 0's or 1's, who you buy it from should give you an ideal where to set them,oh you will pull your shifter boot to run the wire harness down to the tranny and put the little box(with dip switches) under the console, if you take your shifter boot up, you'll see, and your good to go. you might have to drive against another good speedo, friends car, to get an accurate reading. hope this helps!!

I noticed in your sig you had a predator tune why dont you just do it that way? i think it would save you the money and the hassle of a speed cal.

yeah... I'm having technical difficulties with my predator. I used it when I had my 3.73's and it worked fine. But now my tuner just says INVALID LICENSE everytime I try using it to compensate for my 4.10's I just installed. That's why I'm looking at a speedcal.

I tried getting hold of DiabloSport, but I've come to the conclusion that they are absolutely impossible to get tech support from.
