Default Has anyone.....

Ok been doing some reading here and there trying to figure out what the hell is that whistling noise coming from the rear is........and thought it was my brakes its not, thought it was the bearings its not, now has anyone ever heard of a whistling/whirring noise coming from a fuel pump about to fail.......because thats what i'm thinking

if it happens when you only turn the key to the "on" stop then yes it owuld be the pump but they do make noise so dont think thats bad, its bad if it doesnt make nosie.

its off and on and i'm reading around saying it might be the fuel pump theres not much more it could be if its coming from the rear

OK its not my pump.....but i'm still gonna replace it because I need to....so its either a caliper not seated properly or low fluid in the differential or the breather....we''ll find out tomorrow wont we

Guy has the exact same problem on another board. He changed the pump didnt work so theres 2 other things it can possibly be. And yes i'm changing the pump.........Dyno in 2 weeks and counting I just got my IRS check in

dude i say don't worry about it, cars make weird noises. But id say its probably your rear end. If your really worried, id say change the fuild and see what happens. Although the noise is probably nothing at all man.

dude, all fuel pumps make noise when they are running thats how you know they are working. YOu need to let me know when you go for your tune i wanna ride with.

I'm thinking 2 or 3 weeks....if I cant wait its gonna happen next week...lol...depends on this pay check and I jsut got my tax refund i'll let you know
