Default Rear Seat Delete Preps...Corbeau's to come soon.

This is a totally pointless thread, but I'm bored, so... Got around to pulling the rear seats and all the related crap out today. I should have the seat delete done sometime this week. Just a plain jane delete so I can have something to mount an amp to in the future. On a side note, I took the rear seat belts out and when I went to take the passenger side lower mount bolt out, it was already loose. That kinda bothers me, since my son has been in that seat numerous times. It's amazing how much crap you have to take off to get the seat and belts out, but here's my ugly interior for now.

I plan on getting black Corbeau Forza's next month. I thought about getting the yellow Forxa II's, but I can't see them staying clean too long...

I'll probably just order the black Forza's instead...

End of pointless thread.

I've had a lot of people say that, but for some reason I think they're fairly comfortable...plus they're a little more affordable than the adjustable ones...I have a seven year old whose toys are more expensive (and more important) than mine, so my money has to go to him.

Those look pretty cool.... hmmmm might be a nice touch... I hate my rear seats I never use them and when I do, the people always complain cuz it's really not ment for people...

On a Side note, referin to Jacks' comment, I saw in a magazine people putting subs in the feet of the passenger side of the car... dunno if it's ever been tried in a mustang cuz the CPU is there but I thought that was a cool way to hide it...

Ill be doing the same thing. Im going to make my rear seat delete and put in some black Corbeau A4's. Then a 5 point after I get an 8 point bar installed in the future. Apexperformance is awesome. I did a group purchase for helmets through them and will be buying my seats from them also. Their customer service is amazing.

I want 03 Annerversary Cobra seats. Theyre so comfortable and they have more adjustability.

Once you get past the two tabs that seem to throw everybody off, the rest is pretty self explanatory. If you want to take the belts out, you'll have to pull the quarter panel trim and the lower side panel trim out too. I managed to do it without breaking any of the clips...a first for me.

LOL...like I said, it was a first for me. When I pulled panels for a stereo install on my last vehicle, i don't think there was a clip left in one piece when I was done!!! :censored:

I have Forza's in my car and they are not comfortable compared to more expensive seats, or the stock seats until you start getting tossed around the cabin taking turns too fast... then they're fabulous. What they are is lighter than any other seat in their price range. Thus the reason I have them. Forza II's are for fat boys with a 36" or bigger waist. Forza 1's are for up to a 34" waist.

If you want a fixed seat, get a fixed seat. Realize that adjustable are not a "race" seat, they're a sports seat. Fixed seats are best for racing and worst for daily driving.

A word to the wise, if you get Forza's make sure to get some kind of padding for the seat bottom or you'll lose circulation in your legs and be sitting way too low. I used a 4" foam piece as a cushion for each seat and wrapped them in body color denim. They compress down to 2" or less so they don't make you sit too high but they also keep your blood moving through your legs.

Deletes in! Well, sorta...right now it's just sitting there. I haven't decided how I want to mount it or IF I want to drill new holes anywhere in my car... Anyone with a delete kit got any ideas on how to mount it with the least amount of drilling and still make sure that it doesn't become airborne if I slam on the brakes? The rear piece sits in there fairly snug, but I don't know if it'll stay there under sudden braking.

Bought it...also found a use for one of the 40th emblems I got from Foncarelli. Haven't brought myself to drill holes in my car yet, so it's still just sitting in there which is why you can see the yellow at the top.
