Turbos aren't dumb. When done right (not rice burner style), they will destroy any type of supercharger. However, I myself rather stay NA and if I had to choose, it'd be a roots or screw blower for more low end grunt and if it's a 6-71, well, then it's just awesome.

true they really do but as a personal fref id rather have a s/c... a twin turbo or even a single i think would be more for a straight up drag car

Definitely prefer SC...if I didn't have the Mach, I'd go with a the ts whipple charger, or kb for sure. <--If I had the money that is.

Which way do you suggest almighty, w/ a rope? Box cutter?

I hate turbos because of turbo lag but when turbos are set-up right, there is no lag and because they don't suck up power from the crank (but instead use wasted power in the exhaust), they are more efficient and therefore make more power. There is a reason why the OEs prefer turbos over 'chargers, especially for mileage purposes. However, I'd still take a supercharger since it fits better (no crazy exhaust routing) and no lag period.
