Default Cobra piston and rod hp rating?

Just curious what the HP rating is on a stock cobras piston and rod setup? I'm looking for better internals for my GT and was wunderin if I grabbed that it would be a good idea or not.

umm which cobra are we talking about here? the 2003-2004 cobra or the 99 and 01 cobra. either way i wouldnt buy used pistons or connecting rods too much money that could be wasted on critical components.

first off what are your plans...your stock stuff will hold 400 rwhp. if you plan to go higher than forge the short end and sale for stock short block for a couple hundred bucks.

Well they ar'nt used pistons or rods. They are new and they are for the 03 04 cobras. Well I have parts for a supercharger but just for now I wanted to make my short block strong enough for later on. I heard the block itself can withstand alot but just the internals(rod&piston), are bad. people told me to go with a cobra crankshaft too. I'm wanting to go around 5 to 600hp. Someday atleast. Thanks

The last gen Cobra used forged rods (Manley rods w/ a Ford part #) but I'm not sure on the pistons.
