just ordered a IBM Thinkpad T60 to take to college with me this fall. Its gonna take 5 weeks to get here and I cant wait. I have always wanted a laptop so i saved up and got a good one. It set me back $1700 (spent $160 on an extra battery) but I think its worth the money. It should last me all four years of college. I hope i get some graduation $$$$$$$$

 

nice...im planin to get me a laptop by senior year (high school) cause my computer is about to take it 4th death...and i got it 2 years ago...last time im going w/ dell....i think im gonna go w/ an ABS laptop...its a gaming pc but not as much as say voodoo pc, alienware, and hypersonic pc's....

 

i love gaming machines.....
my comp used to be awesome for games...til the graphics card broke....its ok though...i got a full refund.....

 

Nice.. but to be honest no one really uses a laptop in college, you might the first couple weeks but after that you will gte tired of lugging it around, i spent 600 for my comp havent had any problems in the last 3 years, but anyways laptops are awesome, i just hope you didnt think you HAD to get a laptop for college

 

Alienware FTW, or your own built desktop...lol

if I had th money to throw away i'd get the Alienware...

All laptops and desktops are made by Lenovo which is based out of China. IBM sold that division last year.
