i'm guessing that this isn't your first time at the track, so u just have to keep going. practice makes perfect.
what is you suspension like?? the wrong suspension can seriously impead your times. what are your 60' times?? that can give us a big clue to where u need to improve.
do you have a two-step installed?? a two-step will greatly help in ur launch. if u don't want to spend the big money on a MSD one, try getting the two-step function on ur SCT unlocked. have it set for about 3200 rpms and have fun!!

with your suspension set up the way it is you'll never hook those BFG's. I'd be stoked that you're pulling those mid 12's on the suspension you have.
If you want more rear grip you can try a torque arm and panhard bar and adjustable shocks from MM and maybe for the front a switch to coil over with relatively mild spring and adjustable struts so you can get the nose up in the air a bit from the street stance real easy. Those changes will help rear grip.

i was up in sacramento, it was very busy since it was grudge night. my suspension mods are pretty weak, i would love to do what you listed red but money is tight.i dont recall my 60's since i discarded the tickets once i saw them lol. hopefully i'll do better next time

But if you're still on a pretty mild suspension, that'd probably be the next thing to work on if it were me..
Maybe a 90/10 up front and a fully adjustable on the rear or something..
If you still can't get the tires to hook, maybe some MT Drag Radials

what kind of mods do you have?? because i would personally love to go down to 12.6

he has mid 500 hp to the wheels on commiefornia 91 octane.

are you guys not paying attention to the trap speed! its up to 124 MPH! thats ******* moving. If he could get this car to hook it could run a high 10 second pass.
His car problems are all in suspension and weight transfer. This car has plenty of power to push it down the track but most of it is being wasted.

It's called having a supercharged 5.4l and not getting good traction. I would go with r3ds suggestion for suspension mods and then like to see what number he pulls.

There are 2 different versions of the BFG Drag Radials that were made, that's why some people have good luck and some don't. I know the original ones hooked great, and then they changed the compound, and they went to crap. I have heard that the brand new series coming out actually uses the same compound as the originals, so they should be better, but I don't know for certain. The BFGs I had were the originals, and they hooked better than the Nittos before them, and almost as good as the people running M/T's drag radials.
The hooked well enough to tear my torque boxes out, at least.

O.O I though Bako ran nitrous and/or turbo. Shows how much i know.

You are correct. I run 125 shot of nitrous. N/A I'm somewhere in the 13s.
Trap speed of 124mph could be due to tires spinning, although doubtful. Even at 124 mph, still probably isn't good for 10s (atleast not here) but definately good for 11s easily.
Get the shocks and struts, remove the front sway bar, weld in some subframe connectors, and figure out wtf is up with those tires and redo.
With you having a fairly stock suspension its pretty obvious that you aren't getting the power to the ground very well, but having a few friends who are in your power range and have used BFGs.. they haven't had great experiences with them either and have gone with either a Hoosier or a MT drag radial or slick and had much more success..

yea, i think the suspension is doing me bad, ill start looking into that once i raise the money, only suspension work i've done is ,l.c.a and s.f.c and thats it.ima try removing the sway bar, hopefully itll make a difference in the weight transfer when i go back.
