Don't wanna hijack, but about how long does a full bottle last ya? Like if you use the bottle like once or twice a day for example.

Yeah, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Well it depends on the bottle size and the size of the jets.

If you have a 10lb bottle and you're running a 75 shot... I'd say it would last for about 2-3 minutes of spray. I'm not 100% sure though. I've only run a 125 shot, which lasted me about 5 quarter mile runs.

Haha, I wouldn't doubt it. And I never said that nitrous is bad or not worth the money, it's just not a mod I would ever consider doing to any of my cars. Plus, I like the whine of a good sc much better than the sight of a bottle.

Like Ryan said it depends on bottle size and how much nitrous you are spraying. Because the bigger the bottle you obviously get more nitrous to use. The larger the shot you use the faster the bottle empties out.

With a 75shot you should get around 10 or so full runs at the drag strip with the standard 10lb bottle that every kit comes with. with a 100shot you would get around 8 runs.

On the street just using it to dick around like I do, I get like a month or two of a bottle.

I'd rather spend $6,000 on something I want than spend some cheap amount for something I have absolutely no interest in.

Lol.

Nitrous is fun and is amazing stacked with a cam ect. Just like a S/C. My buddies dad just hit 7s not long ago running a 600CI Longblock off Alcohol/Nitrous. And its a mustang body, lol.

The potential of a car running 8s on nitrous on race gas is easily there. Its been done quite a few times, just like a car running 8s on a blower or turbos.

Its just personal preference. I love the whine of a SC or the blowoff from a turbo, but i also love a nice purge.

I'm actually going from using the nozzle in my intake to a throttle body plate kit here pretty soon, my buddy and his dad would really like to build me a direct port kit, but i'm just not ready for that..i'd rather have my internals ect built up..

Oh and yes, 4.10s are going into my car, I'm an auto.

A 10lb bottle and me on a 75 shot will last me quite some time. I've gotten 12 passes at the track before on a full bottle. And gone 2 months on a full bottle just on the street dicking around.

And I am currently untuned.

Yeah I know bottle size and shot size are factors, was just kinda looking for a ballpark answer. And dicking around is what I mainly plan on using it for lol.

Yup, its pretty simple to run ect. And spike is around to help you guys out..

I run a DynoTune kit, priced around 400 bucks, but works just as good as any other out there..

I've added a couple things that I had to, blowdowntube for the track, and a bottle heater for the winter time.
Got my purge setup ect, waiting on painting my pillar for the digital pressure guage and a/f guage..

But ya, mostly stock GTs..they are like chew toys.

Get a kit and we can install it at my house one weekend or one Friday afternoon. Does not take very long to hook the kit up and get it running. Especially if I actully have someone who can handle doing things like drilling some holes, bolting a bottle in, running some lines, or doing some basic wiring.

Nitrous installs are not to hard at all. Hell if you both get kits we can do them both at my house at the same time. If you are looking for a cheap kit then dynotune has good wet kits for cheap. Also ebay and local forums have used kits all the time for cheap. And I mean cheap I have seen kits for as low as $220 on some local forums.

Sean I would be happy to help ya out with the J-mod and cooler just let me know when you wanna do it.
