Default Humidity and drag racing...whats up?

Went to strip Friday night (in Hattiesburg, Mississippi). It was my 2nd trip to the track. I was a running little slower times at first and I think it was because of the humidity. I cut my best 60' time of 2.08 and ran a 14.10?!?! I dont know what the deal was. It just seemed to be dying on the top end. I ran plenty of 2.1x and was staying in the low 14s. I finally installed my mail order tune and ran my best of 13.99 at 99 with a 2.10 60'. My question is, How exactly does humidty affect drag times?

As the humidity goes up, the air pressure for a given volume of air goes down(the air is less dense). Humid air has fewer oxygen molecules to burn per unit volume. Therefore the engine combusts a little bit less making less power.
