Default Took the Stang to the Track

Hello all...Been awhile since I posted. I took my Stang to the track today...Here is my best time:

Best Run:
60ft: 1.9
330ft: 5.7
1/8: 8.8 @ 79.53mph
1/4: 13.7 @ 98.53mph

Back up run:

60ft: 2.0
330ft: 5.7
1/8: 8.7 @ 79.63
1/4: 13.72 @ 98.92

I didn't run below a 13.9 on any of my runs today. I have a question for you all, why is my MPH so damn slow??? I don't get it. Does that mean i'm making no HP???? Can someon fill me in? Thanks!!!!

did/are you letting your car cool off at all between runs or before you ran? Looks like heat is pulling your trap speed down because i have 3.90s and i can pull 103-105 trap speeds. 60 foots look great so i dont see why that would be a problem. whats your elevation at the track? was it hot outside? theres a lot of factors that play into low trap speeds and low ETs.

I used to hot lap the **** out of my car, but now I let it cool off around 30 min between runs. I put ice on the intake to cool it down. The fastest I have ever ran in the 1/4 is a 100.79mph. My 60fts are on ZR45s!!! my elevation is at 187ft above sea level. The temp was 81 degrees. I don't know what that means when my mph is so damn slow. My time seems pretty good for it being an auto with only the mods in my sig....

my times are hot lapped too. i dont have patience to wait to run. since yours is an auto, its really not bad. mabye try changing your shift points. ive trapped 105 before but with a lower ET.

The less tire spin the lower the ET and less MPH you get. So your car hooked up well hce the low ET but lower then noramly mph. Good times for your mods. Also it was hotter outside so that also hurts mph.

I had similar mods I made the same 1/4 mile time but clocked in at 101 mph and it was 90 degrees out.
