Took the mazda 3 to the track
Ran okay...faster than a 6 banger mustang 
the track was riddled with electrical problems so I left after 4 passes. I let one of my friends from work make two runs.
My quickest out of it is a 2.3 60ft and 14.6 at 96 MPH. First time I really ragged on the car. Loses lots of power after 5500...wheel hops like a ************ in 1st and 2nd gear...I learned to feather the clutch.
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Stars are the ****...
fastest car out tonight was a 2008 ZO6 with a meaty tire on the back...dude pulled a 11.4 at 126...seen him on saturday run a 11.00 at 128.
Another friend of mine took his 2007 F350 single cab...has 4" exhaust and no cats with a programmer...that thing kept blowing the tires off first half of the track. He needs a 12-13" wide tire in the 35" to 37" diameter!
