Shift at 5,500Rpms as untill you have full intake and exhaust upgrades there is nothing going on above that. Even with all those mods you should be shifting around 5,700rpms. You need to just go pratice and learn to slip the clutch out of the hole and your times will drop.

My car pulls to about 56-5700rpms with my mods, so maybe that helps.

mine pulls to about 6200

but yeah.. get your 60ft down a little.. on my nitto DR's i launch at about 3-3.5k rpms.. anything higher and it spins (well this was before cams, we'll see what happens tomorrow) and i'd shift at about 5500 like he said.

1. What is your elevation there in Ohio, yes I believe in the alt correction factors, follow Super Comp racing or live in a high alt and you will too.
2. Bounce that pig off the rev limiter!!! Just kidding, I bang my 5 spd around 6000 with favorable results. I also launch at about 1500 for max hook.

Get your Nitto's on that thing.
Shift at 5,500 rpm
Launch it by slipping the clutch and spinning as little as possible without bogging. Trial and error is the only way to determine what rpm to launch at.
