i work with a kid who has a civic hatch back with a new 1.6 vtec and a 50 shot of nitrous and full exhaust.........his interior is gutted and he says its fast {like all ricers do}....he also has nitto dr's on the front.......could i take him with my mods......{stock tires}

 

Hell yes you could. You have almost every bolton plus 4.10's. And your car is faster than his is when they're both stock. Plus, a 50 shot wouldn't be a dramatic increase for a stock civic. I don't care if it's v-tec. Now if he had 100 shot or more, I'd wonder, but for a 50 shot, you're fine

 

yeah...but i was i little younger and a little dumber when i bought those mods and lets say i didnt throw my money in the right places....plus my 410s arnt in yet......i think i could beat him.....but his car is so g damn light and hes gonna hook up alot better than i am.........

 

you will lose, a 50shot is alot on those motors. And the drag radials are make him pull a better 60' assuming he can use them.

 

w/ 4.10's u should win....but without the 4.10's, his car may win..

once that 50 shot starts spraying he will pull and pass u. plus its a light car.

no...my mustang is tarped in rapid city and under about 2 feet of snow.....im in aberdeen....but i just bought the vcn 1000 and ill be running a 75 shot as soon as weather permits.......

not yet...ill wait till he talks ****.....or untill the weather gets consistantly above 20 degrees........i just wanna know for my own piece of mind at the moment......but im pretty sure if i got the 4.10s in and a 75 shot i have no reason to worry

 

Depending on if the car is tuned well and if he has other work like Internal that you dont know about, he might mop you! i've seen many Honda's on a little 40 wet shot make 250-260whp, and sum on a 75 wet shot make a little over 300hp! The fact that it's a HB and weighs almost 1000lbs less than you....it should move out..depending on if the kid can drive. You should try and find out what all he does have done....ie: cams/VAFC/LSD.....but like i said if it's tuned well and the kid can drive it's a good 12.80-13.00 1/4 mile car.

 

all he told me was that he dropped in a 1.6 litre v-tec....i doubt that that he has the money to go crazy with the internals......the guy has a hell of a time getting it started sometimes....its kinda funny:loser:

 

you should be alright, sounds like its not tuned, jus a drop in swap.
