Which Shocks!?

I was just about to buy an entire suspension kit from either UPR or D&D and was wondering what kind of shocks I needed to buy with either coilover kit. I don't know if I need special shocks or if the Bilstein shocks MT sells will work (that's what I want). Does anyone know? Also, what spring rate should I get (I don't know much about coilover spring rates)?
