Default Tokico, Monroe Shocks & Struts Which One Is Better ?

Hi There

I replaced my Mustang 2001 V6 Shocks & Struts with KYB GR-2 , and to be honest that the ride quality changed which you can feel you have more control over the car than before and better handling BUT my only issuie with them is that they are harsh and stiffer which makes me thinking of changing them however they are still new ! because I am not an aggressive driver. I am thinking of replacing them with (Tokico HPs or Monroe) but I dont know which one is better ! I am looking for non adjustable (Spongy) Drive , if you guys have experiences about those shocks I mentioned , please let me know

Thanks

yeah that stifness is what gives you better handling and traction. You cant have both better handling/traction AND comfort.

Comfort=go back to stock
handling=stick with what you have.

Im actually about to install http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=938 as well as steeda CC plates, bumpsteer kit, and eibach prokit

The question is Why did you selected Tokico between the others ? is there anything diffrent ? or its only you like them ?

Tokico is better than Monroe. Monroe dampers are stock replacements. Tokico HPs for example are a step up and can handle higher spring rates.

Umm that sound intresting and some useful information , thanks for that.

I don't think I am gonna sell them , I will use them for a while because I spent alot of money by replacing things and upgrading others like new springs , rotors , pads , BBK cold air intake and the sound system which by the way i am interesting in sound systems more than anything else

I am thinking to upgrade to dual exhust but do you know guys what is the exact size of the original GT tips ? is it 3" or below ?
