Hi all, I'm new to the forum.

I would just like to go on record and say that I had a small
oddity with the 14 inch black shorty antenna and I asked AMNick
about it and what do ya know, a new one showes up at my door today.

Lol what happened to it?

 

The stud was 1/8th shorter then the factory antenna and
only caught a few threads. I was worried someone would
twang the antenna and pull out the few threads that did catch.

AMNick mentioned that only 5% of the mustangs have this problem.
It figures I would get one of them.

 

Lol thats kinda funny, but yeah AM is realy good with returns and stuff.

Yup...less then 5% of Mustangs were having that problem...not sure if Ford used more then one manufacturer for the antenna bases, or maybe they just cut the threads too low on some of them...either way we worked with the antenna manufacturer to adjust their design to make the stud longer so the antenna stud fits perfect with both the oddball bases and the majority bases. Our latest batch fits all Mustangs fine. - Nick
