Default 8-inch Fixed Black Antenna

i am sure this has been asked before, but does this antenna have good, or almost the same reception as the stock antenna? BTW i live in a pretty big subburb of Chicago, not a rural country place. i really like this one cause its small, and i want to get rid of that damn RC car antenna on my mustang. so should i go with this one or the 14in one?

My reception is mediocre, local stations are crystal clear, others that were great before kind go in and out of clarity.

I would go with the 14". I personally think it looks better on the car because it lines up with the roof line. You're also going to get better reception with that than you would with the 8"er.

I have the 8" antenna and have no reception problem. I still pick up a radio station thats 75 or 80 miles away the same as I did with the stock one.
