Default Motive gear whine?

I bought a set of motive performance plus 4.10 gears from you guys a little over a week ago. The shop I am planning on having them installed at says they will whine no matter what. Is that true?

No, not at all.

Some shops prefer FRPP gears to Motive's because the backlash is easier to set with FRPP gears. However, so long as you have a competant shop installer who knows what they are doing, you should be fine. The shimming can just be a little trickier.

I have people with Motive 4.10's in their car and they have not had any problem at all with gear whine or anything.

The shop I got my gears done at orders frpp only and says they're the best. My gears have no whine(atleast none that i can hear) so I would imagine that as long as theyre done right, there shoudlnt be whine ever
