new problem
im having a new problem with my baby. yesterday i went to take her out for a spin and while it was sitting there warming up a bit i noticed the smell of raw fuel coming out of the exaust. as i pulled down the road smoke was pouring. im quite sure its fuel related and its never smoked a bit sense i got it. after about 15 min it came out of it.. (yesterday) today i went through the same thing. i checked a few plugs and none seem to be fouled like it was doing before. its still starting fine just getting way too much fuel. i havnt adjusted anything and all vacum lines appear to be attached. could the be a sensor problem or a valve sticking open or shut??? the regulator is reading about 35 to 40 pounds and it has 30# injectors

its wierd man.. its white and the smell of gas is horrible when its sitting there at idle in the driveway. and if i try to drive it the cloud of smoke is nonstop. i dont see any water in the oil or oil in the antifreeze.. so i guess im gonna run a compression check first. one plug doesnt even look like its firing now. this bitch has got a serious attitude!! haha.

The E303 is a super weak small cam. I would highly suggest not getting it and getting a better modern cam. Those cams are so old there are much better choices out there. I dont think anything but stock would be good for you and your mods. Maybe some 24#ers if you feel the need.

Call up and talk to someone at comp cams or whatever cam company you like. They can recommend a cam way better then any of us can. I can tell you this, those Ford racing cams are so old and technology has come a long way since those were made.

That's the thing it has just basic exhaust and what not and someone before him added way to much injector to the car. It's to hear someone else besides me say that those old *** alphabet cams are out dated. I do not know why everyone still uses them. They aren't bad just technology has come a long way since those cam's were designed.

The only motorsport cams I would recommend are a f or higher. They are old school. There is alot better cams out there. 24lb injectors is plenty for a n.a car. 30lb is for nitrous and some kind of supercharger. I ran a shot of nitrous with my 24's with no problem.

i have nitrous, headers, off road X pipe and pro mac dumps or something like that for mufflers. also has afr heads and holly systemax intake with aftermarket maf and throttlebody. 75mm for both i think. im geting ready to tear it down soon. i think i blew the head or intake gasket when i hit the nitrous. ive got a friend that owns a shop and told me to bring it on down so he could help me. thanks for the input guys.
