hello everyone.i own a 95 mustang gt 5 speed with the 5.0 and i want to take it oand swap with the 98 cobra 4.6 dohc because it will add much more horse and it has 2 cams so i was wondering would that be a direct fit or would it take alot of brackets and alot of time thank you all for you help

 

hi everybody i just bought a 95 gt 5 speed with the 5.0 and my friend recently totaled his 98 cobra so he sold me his engine for 600 bucks so i was wondering would that be a direct fit for mustang or would i have to do some altering thanks for all the help

 

it has 4 cams. and this isnt power adder.

 

okay i just got into racing and one of my friends told me that if you swaped the 5.0 for the 4.6 dohc that it would add like 30 horses

the 'power adder' isnt just anything that adds power, a power adder is one of three things TurboCharger, Supercharger, or Nitrous Oxide.

what you are talking about is an engine swap, and i believe you'll see more then 30hp i think those had like 300hp as opposed to your 215 (stock vs stock)
