Default what would be a better year for a collector car

Next year im plaining on getting a mustang and like the 90-93 Gts but also like
00-04s but i want to kept this car for every and kept it as a collector car and for the most part stay stock because it will be kept as a collector car and like to drive cars when they were fast back in their day .both cars will be 5.0 and 5spd and GT's.Theres less 90-93s now compared to the 00-04s so would the old modal be better.

From a purely collecting point of view, you'd be best off with one of the 92 or 93 Limited Edition cars (red, yellow or white monochromatic paint jobs), a 79 Pace Car, a 84 "GT350" (especially a turbo convertible), an SVO or a 93 SVT Cobra. They only made about 1500 of each color of LE and 4993 Cobras. Low production and high performance are the keys to collector's values and they're the only real "special" Fox bodies.

The 1991 - 1993 LE Cars have shown some solid collectibility. It is also getting harder and harder to find nice ones. Expect to pay $10,000+ for a nice one....this is more then what you would pay for a 1996 - 1998 GT. ****, I saw a Vert listed for $15k. It was a tripple white...course asking and getting are two different things.
