Default problems

help! As a tech grad of NASCAR Tech Institute and cup team employee, I have installed the BBK (mistake) clutch qaud. kit on my 93 cobra the cable rubs on the TOP ( not a side to side alignment issue) of the firewall adjuster. I've opened the hole a little and did not help, seems to me as if the quad. is to tall raising the cable higher than it should. So im gonna replace the kit with either the Steeda or the Anderson Ford Motorsport wide track quick release has anyone heard of such problem and what is you thought between the Steeda and AFM? For street/strip use, quick release or no?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Sounds like the Adjuster isnt in straight and thus the rubbing.

All of those kits are garbage. Stay away from them and keep OEM.

Ok every one on com says needs adjusting. The adjustments this kit allows is for pedal height not cable height. Turning the firewall adjuster in or out sets the pedal to desire feel of driver within reason, the qaud is positional left to right only bout an inch with washers to hold in place, now understand that the cable is cutting groves in the TOP of the adjuster even after I made the hole bigger, not sides, you can see that by pressing slightly on pedal with hand looking under dash with a light. I cant raise the firewall adjuster without grinding the firewall, even then it will hit plastic that I cannot cut into. The quad. is not height adjustable without major mods. that shouldn't be needed. As far as the firewall being adjusted for clutch engagement and disengagement and pedal hight this is correct. Please keep in mind exactly what the issue is and if it is indeed an adjustment your telling me I need, please explain! again thanks for the help!
