Default 300+hp 3.9

we have a 2004 musatng 40th aniv 3.9l v6 one of my buddies has a 2000 LS1 z28 camaro computer tuned to 398 at the crank and 40-100 were dead even factory specs on our mustang say 215 hp which would be about 170 at the wheels and the camaro around 350 at the wheels we bought the mustang used and all thats done to it to my knowledge is header and tru duals what else could possibly be done i was thinking a chip but the top speed limiter is still about 116 a programer would have taken that off help

Not sure where you got the 215 number from. Also is your car an auto or stick? The z28 was a stick shift I assume?

very much so. The 99-04 V6's run in automatic 15.5-16.5 area. That Camaro is easily low 13's.
