i got a question for you. i have this alternator (stock '98 V6 one), i dropped it on the floor, it was a 2 foot drop, and i caught it with my foot, then rolled on the floor. would that make the alternator shaft/pulley stop being able to be turned by hand, or is there something else i missed, becuase i disconnected the negative terminal on my battery and totally removed the alternator from the engine. any help would be apreciated.

was there a reason you disconnected it from the engine? Did it need to be replaced?
